Think College Access, a comprehensive workshop collaborative that leads students and families from transition uncertainty to college admission and graduation clarity.
Founded in 2011 by Debra Nealy, "The College Access Coach" our workshops are complemented by a proprietary curriculum, have supported students with over $18 million in scholarships and grants to over 90 top ranked colleges and universities.
Debra is an educational strategist, with a laser focus on college knowledge, access and success. As a first generation St. John’s University graduate, with 20 plus years of experience in education and business, she initially cultivated her strategic skills with Fortune 500 companies. In 2002, she followed her passion and began serving youth as an educator and ultimately empowering them as an independent college access advisor.
Debra has facilitated college access seminars for countless students and families as a part of TRIO's Upward Bound Program, The City of Atlanta’s College Prep Series, The Steve and Marjorie Harvey’s “Girls Who Rule the World” initiative, The 100 Black Men of Dekalb’s Male Empowerment symposium and for various high schools in the Atlanta, Dekalb and Fulton County school systems. She is an active community partner; as a United Way VIP she serves as a United Way Community Impact Evaluator reviewing educational alliances. Debra is a longstanding Posse Foundation nominator, and serves as a Posse Scholar interviewer and volunteer. In addition, she has served in partnership with the National Association of Black MBAs, The Chick-fil-a Foundation and Junior Achievement Finance Park as a Towers High School educational empowerment and financial literacy coach. Her ongoing commitment to service includes UPS and Junior Achievement of Atlanta as part of the JA Fellows Mentorship Program for high school entrepreneurs. Debra is committed to changing lives and communities through educational equity and access.
